Email & Linking
Using the slash command
What the slash command does
While composing a new email or replying to a thread, type / anywhere in the compose window to instantly access deal context — without leaving the email, switching tabs, or searching your inbox. It's the fastest way to pull deal information directly into an email as you're writing it.
How to use it
Start composing a new email or open a reply
Type / anywhere in the message body
A context menu appears showing relevant deal information
Navigate with arrow keys or continue typing to filter
Press Enter to insert the selected item directly into your email
Please note that this command only works if a deal is linked.
What you can access with /
Contacts — names, phone numbers, and email addresses for everyone linked to your active deals
Documents — file names and links to documents filed in the document center
Timeline dates — upcoming dates and deadlines for your active deals
Deal details — property address, closing date, price, and status
Practical examples
Replying to a lender asking for the buyer's contact — type / and start typing the buyer's name. Their phone number and email appear instantly. Insert and send.
Emailing a client about upcoming dates — type / and find the timeline list. Every milestone on that deal's timeline appears. Insert the closing date without switching to the calendar.
Forwarding a document — type / and search by document name. The document attachment appears and can be inserted directly into the email body.
Tips for getting the most out of /
Keep your deal contacts up to date — the slash command is only as useful as the information saved to your deals. The more complete your deal records are, the more powerful the slash command becomes.
