Before you start

Tract connects to your existing Gmail account using Google's secure OAuth sign-in. You don't need to create a new email address or change how you send and receive email. Tract reads and sends on your behalf using your existing account.

Please note that new accounts will be prompted after sign up to connect email before continuing into Tract.

How to connect

1. Navigate to Settings from the profile icon

2. Click Email from the sub menu

3. Find the Email Account section and click Connect Gmail

4. Sign in with your Google account and grant Tract the requested permissions

5. Your inbox will begin syncing — this usually takes 1-2 minutes

What permissions Tract requests and why

Tract requests access to read, send, and organize your Gmail. This is required to display your inbox inside Tract, link emails to deals, and send email on your behalf. Tract never stores your email credentials and access can be revoked at any time from your Google account settings.

Troubleshooting

If your inbox isn't syncing after 5 minutes, disconnect and reconnect your account from Settings. If the issue persists reply to your welcome email and we'll help immediately.
