What the document center is

The document center is a dedicated view for all documents across every deal in Tract. Access it from the Documents icon in the left sidebar. It gives you a bird's eye view of every filed document — searchable and sortable.

The two ways to view documents

The document center shows documents in two ways depending on what you need:

All Files — every document across all your deals in a single list. Sortable by name, deal, size, and date. Use this when you know the document name but can't remember which deal it belongs to.

By Deal — documents filtered to a specific deal. Use the deal filter in the top right to narrow down to one property. This is the fastest way to find everything related to a specific transaction.

General Folders

The document center includes folders for organizing documents that apply across deals or aren't tied to a specific transaction — templates, standard forms, state disclosure requirements, and other reference documents you use regularly. Create as many folders you need to fit your workflow.

Searching documents

Use the search bar at the top of the document center to find any document by name. Results filter instantly as you type. The deal tag on each result tells you which property the document belongs to.
